The volunteers at Children’s National Hospital in Washington DC assist patients and family members during their hospital visit. The volunteers play a critical role in setting the standards of excellence in a healthcare setting. They also spend quality time with the kids and their families as they recuperate at the hospital.

Project Impact

HealthShine organized a fund raiser and with the proceeds, procured brand new toys, games, and activity sets for the Dr Bears’ Closet at Children’s National Hospital.

Hope these help make the kids stay at the hospital a little more pleasant and they carry with them nice lasting memories.
